The Boston Bruins confirmed what was widely suspected heading into Monday.
Forward Marc Savard has been shut down for the season after suffering yet another concussion Jan. 22. Since then, Savard has been dealing with headaches, irritability, and dizziness, and the decision has been made that Savard should wait until next season before trying to play again.
