Jaguars' RB Maurice Jones-Drew Not Worried About Wrist Injury

Jacksonville Jaguars' running back Maurice Jones-Drew said the injury to his right wrist/hand is no big deal.

Jones-Drew, who left a victory over Buffalo this past Sunday briefly with a wrist injury before returning, said there was swelling in the area Thursday, but "nothing serious."

X-rays were negative on the area early in the week, and Gene Frenette of the Florida Times-Union reported that Jones-Drew was wearing a small wrap on the area Thursday.

"It's a swollen hand," Jones-Drew said as the Jaguars (3-2) prepared to play the Tennessee Titans (3-2) in Jacksonville Monday. "We're just trying to get the swelling down. That's pretty much it, nothing serious. There's no structural damage."

Jones-Drew told reporters he wasn't going to wear the wrap Monday.
