Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris and Steelers coach Mike Tomlin are two of the closest head coaches in the NFL. Tomlin was the Bucs defensive backs coach in 2001 when he was 29 and a year later, Tampa Bay hired Morris, then 25, to be the team's defensive quality control coach and for four seasons he helped Tomlin coach to the secondary. They built a friendship that is solid from the tiny office they shared in Tampa to vacationing together with their families to where they are today as this two buddies walking up and down the sideline with headsets on.
"He's the guy I talk to every week, said Morris, according to John Harris of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review on Sept. 26. "We talk about however the game went. We can talk about friendship, family, whatever. We vacation together... In the summer, we're trying to figure out where we're going after the season ends. When the playoffs are over, we're trying to figure out where we're going."So, what does Morris and Tomlin's relationship have to do with the Ravens? Everything.
