MIAMI -- For all of the concerns about how well the Miami Heat's superstar trio of Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh would mesh together on the court, it appears they are doing a lot of bonding on the bench during the fourth quarters of games thus far. Miami's early schedule hasn't been particularly kind with so many games grouped together, but they've also drawn some hopelessly outmatched opponents such as the New Jersey Nets and the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first handful of games.Since their close loss to the Boston Celtics in the season opener, the Heat have now won four straight by a combined 91 points. But the games are essentially being won in the third quarter, where the Heat have outscored their opponents by a margin of 142 to 78, which means a seat on the bench and plenty of rest for the Big Three. Their jobs are getting easier thanks to the strong support from the rest of the team.
"Everybody was into the game," said Wade, who sat together with Bosh and James at the podium after Tuesday's game. "You should see our bench. When you look down (at the box score) you see 11, 15, 17 (minutes for reserves), etc. and that shows you that we're playing a good team game and everyone is being involved. So hopefully we'll have more nights like that with everyone scoring the way they are."
