Philadelphia Daily News Has Been Sitting on This Headline for Months

In fact, I distinctly remember thinking that the only way Vick would ever get back into the league would be as some running back/wide receiver/Wildcat hybrid.

And yet here we are, two games into the Kevin Kolb era and more than a year since Vick got out of the joint, and he is ... an NFL starting quarterback.

The former first-overall pick has gone from hugely marketable to widely hated to now penitent. But no matter how much Vick has learned or how sorry he is for his past deeds, it will take a long time for fans and media (mostly media) to forget about the dogfighting.
