Report: Lance Armstrong Staff Member to Testify in Front of Grand Jury

Filed under:

Lance ArmstrongAllen Lim, an exercise physiologist on Lance Armstrong's Team RadioShack, reportedly will be the latest person to testify in front of a federal grand jury investigating the seven-time Tour de France champ.

Lim will go before the panel in Los Angeles on Wednesday, according to The Associated Press. Floyd Landis, who reversed course last spring and finally admitted he had doped to win the 2006 Tour de France, alleged in e-mails sent to anti-doping officials that Lim aided Armstrong's doping efforts.

Armstrong has repeatedly denied he ever used performance-enhancing drugs.

Lim will join a growing list of individuals who have been called by the U.S. Attorney's Office. Last week, prosecutors called Stephanie McIlvain, who worked for longtime Armstrong sponsor Oakley.

Federal investigators are attempting to determine whether Armstrong and his teammates conspired to purchase and use illegal performance-enhancing drugs.
