Bill Curry Rejuvenated at Georgia State

ATLANTA -- Bill Curry, Jr. strolled the sideline in the Georgia Dome examining his father's ambitious endeavor, which was to create a football program from scratch at Georgia State University. An executive in Charlotte who fancies himself as a football swami, Bill, Jr. walked and examined and then wandered over to his father during pregame warm-ups.

Bill, Jr. did not try and contain his wonder.

"I'm shocked," he said to his father, the Georgia State coach. "You actually look like a football team."

He started calling out numbers on jerseys to Bill, Sr.

Can that guy play?

"Yes, he can," Bill, Sr. said.

Who is that guy? He looks likes he could play in the SEC. Permalink | Email this | Linking Blogs | Comments
