Broncos' Injuries Force Makeover on Both Sides of Ball

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Wracked by injuries, the Broncos are patching up a defense that could field as many as four new starters on Sunday, when they host the streaking New York Jets, winners of four in a row.

"This is just part of the season," said Coach Josh McDaniels, whose squad also is facing the possibility of being without starting tailback Knowshon Moreno (hamstring) for a fourth consecutive game.

"You go through it, you have a bunch of injuries -- everybody has those periods -- and right now we've got to have some guys step up and play good football."
