Broncos vs. 49ers Preview, Score and More

Two teams that have been huge disappointments in 2010 have taken vastly different paths to the NFL's annual overseas game. The 49ers have been in England since Monday. The Broncos didn't show up until Friday.

For the Niners, this is a chance to get away from the ignominy of a 1-6 start, to get Troy Smith a start at quarterback in neutral waters with Alex Smith (separated left shoulder) out for at least a couple of weeks. The San Francisco offense boasts great weapons (RB Frank Gore, TE Vernon Davis, WR Michael Crabtree) but not great production.

Denver has twice as many wins as the 49ers at 2-5, but they are just as happy to be away from the States. The Broncos tied a record by giving up 59 points at home last weekend against the Oakland Raiders, so Denver comes into this one looking to rediscover itself across the Atlantic.
