Our own Scott Schroeder shared an image from Drew Seller's Twitter account on Ridiculous Upside. It's at right. So there it is, in all its glory. Or something.
Anyway, the changes are subtle, and might mess with the players a bit. Any changes to what players are used to tends to cause issues, even when we think they might be no big deal. For example, you ask the players not to flip out every time a foul is called on them and they threaten to sue. That's how they roll.
The question with this ball is if this is just something the NBA wants to test for testing's sake or if they're considering a full-fledged transition for the league. Much like the other rules the D-League is testing, we'll have to see how the D-League handles it first. It's fun being a test hamster league.
